Poems about beauty - 041010o Always Admire Beauty

041010o Always Admire Beauty - Poem by Manonton Dalan

after the rain i look out my window
watching big birds, i love the yellow
they call them orioles, they're huge
branches bend and fruits fall down
i remember the sound of their flight
like my blanket when i flip it at night

so many more birds come and go
they feast on this black berry, molave
towering tree, over looking our house
my dad told us to leave them alone
they are like human only with talon
and to see their beauty is God's gift
