Poems about beauty - 029: Sleeping Beauty

029: Sleeping Beauty - Poem by Colin Johnston

Skin as soft as Silk
Crying out to be touched
A neck as graceful as a Swans
Light and Dark shadows
Gliding smoothly over it

Curves and Valleys blending smoothly
At the Small of her back
Legs and Arms haphazardly crossed in sleep
As the morning light infuses the skin
With an almost magical translucent quality

Feet so dainty, that my heart skips a beat
Blood pumping
Senses soaring
Head reeling
With this wonderful thing

Called Love…
